Some of these are okay and some of these seem off. What I have noticed is ALL of them are watery/runny. Oils should have different consistency. The orange smells disgusting and not at all like orange, just rancid smelling. I was really sad about that one because it was the one I wanted the most as a "pick me up" oil. The lavender smells pretty good but not nearly as intense as my YL essential oils. All of the oils have sort of an herbaceous scent to them, when some of them should be intensely floral or fruity.

I HATE the bottles. They look like my YL bottles but these leak terribly no matter how hard I screw on the caps, which is a huge waste of money and overwhelming smell wise. I opened 3 upon receiving them, closed them tightly, 5 minutes later picked them up and the outside labels were soaked with oil. When I put the lavender into my diffuser you could HEAR is running from the bottle and way more was used than needed. YL oils are thick and it takes a second for them to drip from the bottle, these ones are just so runny! I feel like they are getting used up too quickly.

Over all, they are fine for diffusing, and I may use them in some home made items, but I should have saved my $$$ and went with YL, which is more expensive but the quality is undeniable. Not to mention I don't feel comfortable ingesting these ones.

EDIT TO ADD (3/6/16) You do get 14 oils in this set which comes out to about $2 each which is a good deal considering the cost of most oils. You may not love all the oils in this set, but would still be getting a good price on the ones you do like. I liked the minty and herbaceous ones like the spearmint for instance. Still hate the bottles. For a starter kit, DYI, or just to experiment while you're getting into oils, you may enjoy this set.

14 EOs here, I was dubious about some of them (four different kinds of citrus?) but have since discovered that these are indeed the less expensive basics. You'll want herbals like helichrysum and chamomile, more of the base notes like myrrh, and woods like sandalwood and the pines and there's no florals at all here...but that's why it's cheap, lol. The quality is quite good for this price range - just a little wimpy but not corrupted - correct smells, not perfumey or chemically or strong. No complaints here!

I am not an expert on essential oils, but I like them, and use them. I feel like they are helpful for a lot of things. I do know it is important to get good quality oils though, and I know that is a tricky thing to do since there are no standards in the business of oils. I have a few companies that I KNOW are good quality oils, but I wanted to give these a try and see what they are like. So I will compare the smells to the ones I already have tried in other brands. Some of them I have never tried so I will just have to go by what this one smells like. I don't really use the oils for the smell by the way, I buy them for their medicinal properties, so just because i say they smell bad doesn't mean that I don't like the oil.

Tea Tree: I have tried several different brands of tea tree oil, and they all smell similar to me, this oil is no different so I don't think this oil is any less quality then any of the other brands I have tried. I plan to use this one for cleaning mostly, and for germs during illness. Head lice, if we ever get it (fingers crossed) hopefully we never will!

Lavender: I have also tried several brands of lavender oil, I have an aura cacia one that I compared it to, and it smelled very similar, but I did like this one a tad bit better as far as smell. I like this one for skin care, and calming properties, it also seems to boost the properties of other oils when it is mixed in.

Peppermint: I have tried other brands of peppermint before, and this peppermint smells very similar to other brands I have tried, so I believe it is of good quality. Peppermint is good for colds, and allergies.

Sweet Orange: I have tried other brands of orange oil, and this one smells just as lovely as those.

I know many say these are "Fake" oils and possibly diluted, but I see no problem with them. I ordered them as a "starter kit" for myself and am very pleased. Sure, there are some I don't use, but it was still worth it for those that I do use. I diffuse lavender and I think it smells great. I use the lemon a lot too. I recently splurged and bought 2 bottles of Young Living, but I honestly do not feel that they are "better." I think these serve my purpose, as I use them for diffusing, roller bottle blends, and homemade chapstick!

All of these smells are completely wonderful! Great for aromatherapy! It's very hard to find 100% essential oils. This absolutely made my day!

Having just received these oils today, my review is mostly first impressions of the product as a whole. As a beginner in essential oils, I think that this kit is really good for me to start out. The bottles are super small, like maybe the size of a c battery so you can figure out what you like and what you don't before going big. The only critique that I have is that these drops come out FAST. And I mean really fast. I tried to add one drop of lemon and about twelve came out. Overall, a great product.
